There are times in life when things are difficult and overwhelming but they don’t have to stay that way. At Chapel Lane Counselling, we believe nobody should have to face those challenges alone.
Chapel Lane Community Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre was founded in 2024 to provide a need for affordable counselling in Ennis and the surrounding areas. We are based conveniently and discreetly on Chapel Lane and together with our team of voluntary counselling psychotherapy we provide a safe, supportive environment where clients can process their experiences, heal from emotional wounds and build lasting resilience.
As a community service, our work extends beyond individual counselling sessions. We are passionate about promoting positive mental health and wellbeing throughout the wider community. We collaborate with local organisations, support community initiatives and work to reduce the stigma that can sometimes prevent people from reaching out for help.
Everyone deserves access to support when they need it, regardless of their circumstances. That is why we offer flexible, affordable options designed to make counselling accessible to as many people as possible.
Other community groups also have a space in the building, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Rape Crisis Midwest, Social Prescribing, and Mortal Talks.
We hold free Workshops for the general public on World Mental Health Day Oct. 10th. Some of these are Art Therapy, Play Therapy for Adults, Movement and Meditation, Mindfulness and Singing for Mental Health.
We believe meaningful change begins when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
Our approach is compassionate, professional and person-centred. We work alongside each individual, couple, family or young person to understand their unique circumstances and support them in a way that feels right for them.
Today, you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and can move on a positive path to growth and well being.
